Your Claude and Codex limits, at a glance.

TokenBar puts what’s left of your current session on your iPhone Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and reminds you when it resets.

Coming soon to the App Store See how it works

iPhone app with a free Mac companion. Requires iOS 26 and macOS 26 or later.

Your Mac reads. Your iPhone shows.

A free menu bar app reads your current session and weekly limits from the official apps and CLIs you already use. It never runs a model and never uses your quota.

  1. Install TokenBar on your Mac

Choose the Desktop app or CLI you use for Claude or Codex, and sign in the official way.

  2. Same Apple Account, paired automatically

Your iPhone and Mac find each other through iCloud. No pairing code to type, no account to create.

  3. Glance at your iPhone

Your limits show up on the Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island and in widgets, with reminders when they reset.

Where your limits show up

Claude and Codex, Desktop and CLI, side by side. Percentages always mean what you have left.

Live Activity and Dynamic Island

A Lock Screen card shows what’s left of each current session, with a countdown to reset. While you work, the Dynamic Island keeps the numbers in view.

When a session runs out, the Dynamic Island switches from the percentage to a countdown.

Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets

Current session and weekly limits at a glance, without opening anything. Widgets refresh with the same data as the app.

Reset reminders

Choose when to hear about it: 1 hour, 30 minutes or 10 minutes before your current session resets, or right when it does. Your choice syncs to every iPhone you use.

If your Mac stops syncing, you get a heads-up too.

Pairs itself through iCloud

Sign in with the same Apple Account on your iPhone and Mac, and they connect on their own. There’s no TokenBar account to create and no code to type.

It reads your limits. Nothing else.

  • Never runs a model, never uses quota

TokenBar only reads usage. It sends no prompts and doesn’t start a session.

  • Your AI sign-in stays on your Mac

Sign-in is handled by the official apps and CLIs. TokenBar only checks your own usage, on your Mac, and never uploads sign-in credentials to iCloud or the relay.

  • No data collected

No analytics, ads or tracking. Your limits sync through your own private iCloud database.

Questions

Will TokenBar use my Claude or Codex quota?

No. The Mac app only reads your current usage. It never runs a model, never sends a prompt and doesn’t start a session timer.

Is TokenBar made by Anthropic or OpenAI?

No. TokenBar is made by BlueBox. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic and Codex is a trademark of OpenAI; TokenBar is not affiliated with either.

What do I need?

An iPhone with iOS 26 or later, a Mac with macOS 26 or later, the same Apple Account on both, and Claude or Codex signed in on your Mac through the Desktop app or the CLI.

What happens when my Mac is asleep?

Reminders already scheduled on your iPhone still go off. Your numbers can’t update while the Mac sleeps; they catch up once it wakes.

Which languages does it support?

English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Korean. TokenBar follows the language settings on your iPhone and Mac.

Do you collect my data?

No. Your limits sync through your own iCloud. To make Live Activities appear and update on their own, quota numbers and reset times pass through a BlueBox relay to Apple’s push service. The relay doesn’t store them and never sees your email or sign-in.
